Today, I saw a beautiful candle - glowing and shedding its orangish-yellow light between the cold and snowy white mountains, surrounded by misty fog. It was a dream, or should I say, just a scene in my dream, that I saw with closed eyes; but the whole scene is still fresh in my memory. I can still see it, feel it, as if it's still there, it is 'real'!
It gives me inspiration and so I want to share it here.
This is the only candle flickering its light between these huge, dark, and snowy mountains. It's cold everywhere, the trees are covered in snow, and the cool breeze of wind, incessantly trying to blow the flame off. The candle is struggling to be aflame. The obstacles are too many, and it is difficult to survive, but the candle is still aflame. It keeps up the relentless efforts to glow, and provide the littlest light, and warmth, possible. It fights persistently.
The fight between the candle and the gusty breezes continues, but it seems as if the candle has made up its mind, to fight, to keep doing what it is meant to do - to provide light, (even though there is only little hope of survival, or may be none!) and warmth (even though it is as good as none, when compared to these snow clad mountains) but it is still there - the light that it sheds is the ray of hope, and the warmth it provides, is the inspiration to keep going, and spreading warmth and love amongst everyone around us.
This candle is truly an inspiration to me, to us! We can all keep glowing and shed the light of positivity, of love, of happiness. We can all fight persistently, or at least try - for that matter, to overcome the obstacles in life. We can all be a source of inspiration for people around us. Because that is what we are meant to do - to be persistent and keep going, to fight the hurdles of life, to keep going, to smile and spread love, and hope.
